From the Desk of Thelma Hartley, President
I would like to give you a little background of how I got involved in the Income Tax Business.
I started working at National Tax Service located on Harden Street back in 1973. Red Tichnell owned the business at that time and remained owner until my Mother – Grace Huggins took over and I worked for her on a part time or full time basis she was also the Owner of Huggins Tax Service in West Columbia and I also worked at that location. When my mother passed away Sept. 2000, I then became the owner of National Tax in Five Points. In 2009, after already having to relocate once in Five Points I was having to relocate again and, I decided to join my business in with the Franchise owner located at 6701 Two Notch Road, Red Tichnell. I have remained here on a Full Time basis.
During the time that I have been involved in Income Tax, Bookkeeping and Payroll services, I have taught Tax Classes, was a member of the Board of Directors for NATP and also have my Certificate as an RTRP with IRS.
At National Tax Service we strive to serve the public with dedicated and knowledgeable Income Tax Preparers. We try to stay competitive in the pricing of our services and have been told that we have some of the lowest price in town while continuing with personal service with all of our tax clients. Our clients are special to us and we consider them all as part of our extended family.
Over the years we have continued to be open year round, as Income Tax services do not stop come April 15th. Some of our competitors close up shop after April 15th therefore leaving their clients to look for someone to help them with their tax needs. We are dedicated to helping all clients whether they are long time clients or brand new to our service.
